Silky

I do jokes and sing songs. I am tall and have low maintenance hair. I’ll have been gigging for 20 years in October 2014, despite still being relatively under 40.

International Testimonials

‘Silky performed for us at our May 8 show last week at Pontoon Club in Phnom Penh. Many agreed it was one of the best shows we’ve hosted, no mean feat considering some of the top names in circuit comedy that have appeared in Cambodia in the past.

Silky exuded professionalism both on and off the stage, offering his help and advice to make our show as good as it could be. His years of experience in running and featuring in comedy gigs was a blessing for our night as we required him to assume the role of MC while also delivering a half-hour set, something he managed with effortless ease to an enraptured audience.

Even with a faulty microphone that threatened to disrupt the entire show, Silky stayed calm and kept going, engaging the crowd with his affable personality and razor-sharp gags. And his guitar-driven improvisations were a delight to witness.

In summation, we heartily recommend booking Silky for your show, be it with Brits in attendance or otherwise. He will not fail to impress. And we want him back here again.’

‘Silky played Saigon Comedy Nights in May 2013, an event organised by Comedy Club Asia, and was an instant hit. His intelligent and off-the-wall humour which has its roots in the same stables that nurtured the likes of The Goons, Monty Python and Not the Nine ‘O Clock News, had the crowd in stitches. Coming on last he provided 40 minutes of great, often ad-libbed humour. He played the crowd with wonderful finesse and took the club by storm. A great show!’
