Chris Neill and Nick Revell work up material for their new Radio series

+++++

Chris will be performing material from his forthcoming Radio 4 series Woof: One Man's Search For A Dog Or A Boyfriend.  There are no prizes for guessing what it's about.  Unfortunately he'll have to do all the voices himself and so may bring a range of hats to aid comprehension.

Nick Revell’s forthcoming BBC R4 show, BrokenDreamCatcher, will be a series of surreal and satirical stories.

"Nick Revell has done for magic realism what Austin Powers did for James Bond.” Times

"...as if JG Ballard has written an Edinburgh show from beyond the grave... profound and impressive and expertly delivered...” Chortle

Gluten Free Jesus - 7 Easy Steps to Mindfulness, Weight-Loss, Eternal Beauty, Spiritual Detox, Untold Riches & Dealing with Disappointment - in which the secret world of the One Per Cent is revealed, including what happened when Jesus returned to Earth. Without wanting to reveal to much, this entails explaining the truth behind the headline Body Of Christ Found In Value-Burger.

Nick Revell vs Lily, Evil Cat-Queen of Earth Planet and the Laughing Fridge. A super-intelligent cat gains global  celebrity-status through social media and with a horde of zombie rodents, threatens to take over the world.

"…a sort of Jackanory for grown-ups and it is great fun. Nick Revell’s stories are a fantastic device to do some satire, some politics, some observational humour and a load of silliness...Nick pretty much has the ‘surreal fiction for adults’ genre to himself and he is its master. I left thinking I wish they would put it on telly.” Kate Copstick, Scotsman

Other stories include Vladimir Putin’s Bottom is Missing, BrokenDreamCatcher, Central Asia’s Most Brutal Dictators and Their Lovely Homes, The Gap Year Drone Operator Who Mistook Her Cheating Boyfriend for a Terrorist Convoy, Clash of the Hipster Shamans and The Theme Park at the End of World.
